CEOs from the European companies within the FT Global 500 are recruited into the EBLA Nominations Panel and then invited to help identify the most respected leaders in business. There they nominate up to two CEOs who head up European companies, other than their own, into each of the seven categories.
The Judging Panel reviews the shortlist of nominations, looking at achievements, financial performance and key competitive indicators over the past twelve months, and then determines the finalists in each category.
The finalists are announced on CNBC and in the Financial Times in January 2010, to coincide with the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland .
The CEO Nominating Panellists are invited as guests to the gala reception and Awards ceremony in London where the winners are announced.
